• Yung Koprowski has served on Town Council since May 2020 with a term ending December 2022. She’s a candidate for Gilbert Town Council in the August 2, 2022 election for a four-year term.

 

Meet Yung.

Yung Koprowski was appointed to the Town Council in April 2020 and served as Vice Mayor from September 2020 through January 2022. She served as Vice Chair of the Citizens Transportation Task Force prior to her appointment.

Yung received her Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering Cum Laude from Arizona State University. Yung is a civil engineer and the founder and Principal of Y2K Engineering, a transportation engineering firm. She leads a team of 20 from offices in Mesa, Arizona, and Denver, Colorado.

Yung was raised in the Queen Creek area, attended Chandler Unified School District schools, and has lived in Gilbert since Valentine's Day 2008.

Her husband is also a civil engineer and they have two elementary school aged children.
